Visual Studio Code for Documentation

ยท One min read
Carlos Angulo Mascarell

Hi all,

Visual Studio Code is one of the top IDEs, but did you know you can use it for simple documentation? You only need to learn some Markdown basics!

In this meetup, I explained some basic for that:

  1. Markdown, when to use it? When not to use it?
  2. VS Code, out of the box features
  3. VS Code extensions for Markdown
  4. VS Code snippets: How to increase your productivity with templates

The content is ideal for quick instructions/step by step guides.

About me

I'm a Software Engineer with experience as Developer and DevOps. The technologies I have worked with are DotNet, Terraform and AWS. For the last one, I have the Developer Associate certification. I define myself as a challenge-seeker person and team player. I simply give it all to deliver high-quality solutions. On the other hand, I like to analyze and improve processes, promote productivity and document implementations (yes, I'm a developer that likes to document ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป).
